I’d purchase my $8 bowl of steaming hot comfort soup, and slurp wontons and noodles all over my readings. I’ve been hooked ever since.
I stumbled across a pork and veal mince at my local grocery store a little while ago, and thought I’d give it a go. I was very impressed with the results. This recipe will be on high rotation in my house for a little while to come.
Hoping to inspire a food memory of my own, I’ve made my own roast chicken with a lemon and macadamia nut stuffing. It goes to show that a few simple herbs and flavours from the garden can make a beautiful meal just that little bit more special.
The weather has cooled quite a bit in my corner of the earth recently, so I’ve been turning to my cookbooks for some hearty, warming meals. I’ve found lots of soups and stews that require beef stock. So I’ve taken the plunge and made my own. And it’s good!
I’ve thought about making bread at home for a while now, but never really known where to start. Last month I was invited to my local Bakers Delight store to see how they make their Pink Fingerbuns, and that gave me the impetus to just go ahead and do it.
